We presented a showcase of products, cannabis packaging, and installations designed through an exploration of nostalgia, play, and the pleasure associated with the two.

Season 2 packaging incorporated materials with more permanence, focused on collectibility rather than disposability. Nostalgia and THC both activate areas of the brain associated with memory and the brain reward system, creating a seamless compatibility between season two’s designs and cannabis users.

Season one was a well-grounded curatorial concept show that presented all products and packaging artfully. We pulled imagery from warning labels, street signs, and other utilitarian objects that we felt could be aesthetically repurposed.
